An unimaginable existence
Without you guiding me
A never ending misery
Detached by so much distance.
Though you rest peacefully
Your spirits cloud my presence
Your laughter echoes from heaven
And leaves me in melancholy.
Slipping from your grasp
As I return to reality
Which once held glee
Drifting away leaving a barren gap.
That summer, when I left
For the airport to fly home
You had advised me to fly and roam
But never returned, as you were greeted with death.
